Wedding Etiquette For The Rest Of Us: What The Bridal Magazines Don't Say
Open any bridal magazine and you will find an article on etiquette: how to set place cards, how to thank the bridal party, and the proper way to hold your salad fork. However, that doesn’t really help when you are a wedding professional. You have to deal with drunken guests, awkward family, and oh yeah, do your job. We’ve consulted with a wedding etiquette expert and photographer Chenin Boutwell for some wise advice for the worst situations.
Portrait of Success: Jessica Johnston Photography
Samantha Lerner spends an evening with the Michigan based duo. Step inside their gorgeous studio and learn about their incredible rise to the top.
Inside Real Studios: Marla and Shane
A diary by Marla herself documenting the joy and tears of opening her gorgeous storefront studio.
Inspired Project: Fine Print Boxes With Michael Chinn
The San Francisco Native shows us step-by-step how to create one of his beautiful signature art folios. You won't believe how easy it is!
Nate Kaiser: The Business Is Found
Solid business advice and some of thei most gorgeous wedding imagery we have ever seen.
How To Be Soooooo Good With Kids
Tamara Lackey gives us a quirky and refreshing look at the different personality types a photographer will encounter when working with children.
Upselling As An Art
You may not have actually heard the term before, but you have certainly experienced the marketing technique of up-selling. Michigan portrait artist Brianna Graham fills us in on how she took a marginally working incentive-based program and turned it into a lucrative up-selling program.
