Associate/Second Shooter Contract

  • As a wedding photographer, there will be times when it’s just physically impossible to execute a solid wedding shoot with artful imagery results on your own. Rather than referring these potentially high-ticket clients elsewhere, hiring an associate photographer can be a great move. However, there are many factors to consider, and it’s very important to address them all.

Design Aglow’s comprehensive Associate Wedding Photographer/Second Shooter Contract provides an all-inclusive agreement which addresses everything from clarifying services rendered to heading off potential legal hang-ups.

Laws vary from state to state so it is recommended that you make sure your customized contract complies with your state laws. This contract is written according to US law so we can't guarantee that it will be appropriate for Canadian photography studios, but as the US and Canada have very similar legal structures, you shouldn't have to change it very much for Canadian clients. While our contract covers an extreme amount of details, be sure to consult a lawyer prior to use to ensure you are legally covered for your area.
